A little story for pregnant women9

The demon king Hiranyakashipu wanted to dissuade the best devotee Prahlad from worshiping the Lord.  His belief was that 'Pralhad is still a child, someone has misled him.  His thoughts will change if he gets proper education.  Due to this belief, the demon king had sent Prahlad to study in Shukracharya's Putrashand and Amark's ashram and had ordered both of those teachers to carefully teach his child about demonic economics, punishment, politics etc.

Whatever the Acharya used to teach, Prahlad used to read it, remember it, but he did not feel like it.  His importance towards that education was not intelligence.  When both Acharyas were engaged in the work of the ashram, then Prahlad would have called other classmate demon-boys to him.  Firstly, he was a prince, and secondly, many attempts of the demon king to kill him had gone in vain, due to which all the demon children respected him a lot.

When called by Prahlad, he would stop playing and come near him and listen to his words carefully.  Prahlad would tell them the importance of self-control, morality, compassion for life, explain the futility of worldly pleasures and tell them the glory of God's hymns.  The children would have been very surprised to hear all this.

The demon-boys asked - 'Prahladji!  Your stage is short.  You have also stayed with us in the Raj Bhavan and have come to study with these teachers.  How did you know all these things?'  Prahlad ji told - 'Brothers!  There is a history behind this too.

After the death of my uncle Hiranyaksha, my father decided to do penance to make himself immortal and went to Mandarachal.  In his absence the deities attacked Daityapuri.  The demons were defeated in the absence of their hero and left their women and children and fled here and there after saving their lives.

The gods looted the deserted houses of the demons and set them on fire.  At the end of the robbery, Devraj Indra took my mother Kayadhu as a captive and took her to Amravati.  Devarshi Narad met on the way.  He scolded Devraj - 'Indra!  Why are you taking this stranger Sadhvi woman?  Leave it at once.'  Indra said - ' Devarshi!  There is a demon king's child in its stomach.  We want to destroy the clan of demons.  If his son is born, I will kill him and then leave him.'

Naradji told - 'You forget, Devraj!  In its womb is a great devotee of the Lord.  It is not your power that you can do anything to him.' Devraj's attitude changed immediately.  He said with folded hands - ' Please forgive Devarshi!  I did not know that there was a Bhagwad devotee in its womb.  Indra circumambulated my mother.  He bowed his head towards the unborn child and went away leaving my mother.

Naradji said to my mother - 'Daughter!  Come to my ashram and stay there happily until your husband returns after retiring from penance.'  Devirshi used to come to the ashram once a day, but my mother did not have any problem there.  She used to serve other rishis of the ashram.  Devarshi Narad ji used to preach him on Bhagavad Bhakti.  Devarshi's aim was to preach to me.  I heard those divine teachings in my mother's womb.

Due to the passage of many days and being a woman, due to getting entangled in household chores, the mother forgot those teachings;  But by the grace of Devarshi, I remember (remember) his teachings.

Dear readers, hope you liked the post.  Will meet again with the next post in the devotional story. till then jay-jay shri radhe-krishna.

Thankyou
