One day in the month of Kartik, after waking up on the day of Ekadashi, he was going to the temple of God with the worship material for a while.
On the way, he saw that a fierce demon was running towards him making a terrible sound. Now the poor Brahmin was trembling with fear.
He was just memorizing the name of God. Just give all the worship material to that demon.
By the touch (touching) of Tulsi Dal etc containing Bhagavatram, that demonic became sinless. At that very moment he remembered his previous birth.
She immediately prostrated in front of the Brahmin and lay down on the earth and said - ' Vipravar! Because of my past deeds, I have got this plight. Now please tell me how I can attain the perfect condition again.'
Dharmadutt now felt pity. He expressed his desire to know the curiosity of the deeds of his birth.
The demon started saying - 'Brahman! In Saurashtra Nagar there was a Brahmin named Bhikshu. I was his wife. My name was Kalha. My nature was very evil and cruel. What more can I say, I have never done any good to my husband even with my words.
After preparing food, I used to eat all the good things myself first, later I used to keep the useless residual things for my husband's food. I was in a state of discord that I used to behave exactly opposite to whatever my husband used to say.
Once my husband heard my story from his friend. After thinking a little, he told my husband that 'if you say 'prohibition' (by saying the opposite), then your wife will do your work properly.'
After that my husband came to me and said once - 'Look, my friend is very wicked, don't invite him for food even by mistake.'
On this I said, 'No-no, he is your friend, he is a saint. I will call her today itself and feed her.' Having said this, I called him and got him food the same day.

From that day my husband always started saying 'prohibition'. One day my father-in-law's Shraddha day arrived. My husband said – 'Dear! I will not perform the Shradh of my father.
I said- 'You are cursed again and again. It seems that you have no knowledge of son's religion. Tell me, what will happen to you if you don't perform Shradh?'
I immediately went and invited the brahmins. Then my husband said, 'Dear! Feed only one Brahmin, don't expand.'
Hearing this, I invited eighteen Brahmins and came. My husband said- 'Don't cook the dish.' That's all, I have prepared the dish.
The husband said, 'First we and you both have food, then the Brahmins should be fed afterwards.' I said- 'You are cursed again and again. Well, don't you feel ashamed to eat before the Brahmins feed you?'
In the same way, my husband completed all the Shradh rituals with prohibition. Divinely, in the end, he forgot the memory of prohibition and said - 'Dear! Put these bodies in some sattirth.'
That's it, I put them in the fecal well (toilet). Now they are crying out in grief. After thinking a little, he again said - 'Good! See, don't take these bodies out.' I quickly got down into the toilet and brought those bodies out.
Then he said - 'Don't put them in any good pilgrimage.' Then I took them with great respect and put them in the pilgrimage.

In the end, being distressed by my wickedness, the husband decided to remarry. Hearing this, I gave up my life by consuming poison.
After that the Yamadoots tied me up and took me away. Yamraj asked Chitragupt after seeing me. Chitragupt said-' Auspicious deeds have never happened through this.
She always used to eat sweets herself and used to give useless leftovers (left over from eating, stale food) to her husband.

Just, instantly that demonic turned into a beauty like Urvashi like a blazing fire.
Here a plane landed from the sky. Punyasheel and Sushil were the two Ganas of God on it. Dharamdutt was astonished and prostrated before him.
The ganas lifted him up and hugged him and thanked him. They said, ' Viprashrestha! You are blessed, who show such kindness to the poor. All his sins were destroyed by your grace.
It will remain in Vishnulok till eternity. Now your virtue has doubled.' Therefore you will also come there when you die along with your two wives.
